I’m going to use #Wordpress as my main account for now, but I’m probably going to cross-post to #Wafrn too. I went with WordPress/Friends because it was easier and cheaper (I’d have had to pay for a VPS), but I really like being able to talk to people in the #Fediverse and #Bluesky at the same time.

Manually re-adding all my followed accounts was a trip down memory lane. There were a lot of defunct accounts from my early days on #Mastodon.
I remember total chaos of everybody migrating instances every couple of days because the instance they were on had committed some minor transgression. While I stayed on matodon.social out of sheer bloody-mindedness.
Mastodon was a much weirder place back then.
